What happens after I sign up?

Once you complete the health intake quiz, a licensed clinician will review your information, usually within a few hours. No need for video calls or anything like that!

After your prescription is written, your medication will be processed, and you will receive shipping and tracking information within a day or two. You’ll have unlimited access to our patient care team and providers for any questions. At the end of each month, you’ll fill out a refill form to continue receiving your medication.

You’ll also get text and email updates with tracking information for your shipment.

If you have questions about progress, side effects, or dosage, you can consult with a clinician at no extra cost through our patient portal.

What's the difference between injectable vs. sublingual (oral)?

Injectable and sublingual (oral) GLP-1 medications differ mainly in how they’re absorbed and how effective they can be. Injectable forms are administered under the skin and are absorbed directly into the bloodstream, which typically leads to more consistent results and stronger appetite control.

Sublingual or oral options are taken by mouth and absorbed through the digestive system, which can result in slightly lower absorption and more variability between individuals.Some people prefer injections for their reliability, while others choose sublingual options for convenience and comfort. The best option depends on your preferences, goals, and how your body responds.

What happens after I sign up?

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

If you're not approved for medication (FDA requirements for GLP-1 medication is usually >22 BMI with prior comorbidities, no current allergies to GLP-1 medication, not currently pregnant or breastfeeding, and no prior certain medical conditions) then you're refunded!

Once you are approved and medication is shipped, you can't be refunded.

What if I'm pregnant and breastfeeding, or planning to get pregnant?

GLP-1 medications are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or currently breastfeeding, you won't be approved for Oak's GLP-1 program.

Do you require insurance?

No, insurance is not required. Oak offers transparent, affordable pricing with no hidden fees, so you can access treatment without relying on insurance coverage. Consults are free!

Do you accept FSA/HSA cards?

Your purchases are usually FSA and HSA eligible. You pay using credit card and then reimburse for FSA/HSA

Our licensed medical providers are based across the United States and are able to prescribe in multiple states. Your treatment will always be reviewed and approved by a qualified clinician trained in obesity.

Are your pharmacies FDA-regulated?

Will I get charged if I don't qualify for medication?

No, you will not be charged if you do not qualify. Your information is reviewed by a licensed clinician, and you are only charged if you are approved.

I have a previous prescription from another weight-loss company, can I start at a higher dosage?

Your starting dose will be determined by a licensed clinician, as long as you have been on the medication within the last few months your Oak clinician should be able to provide you with a similar or increasing dose.

What is the process of getting my prescription refilled?

At the end of each treatment period, you’ll complete a quick refill form through your patient portal. A clinician will review your progress and approve your refill if appropriate.
